The divorce rate in America is 59%. This alone says a lot. People getting married that aren't ready for it. Or mature for it. The bond of love in front of god any everyone broken so easy. And sometimes over ignorant things. I see people today. They are in love. The have been for many many MANY years. Some of them, 40, 50 years. And not married. They have been together longer them most of us have been alive. They live together like a marriage couple, but aren't. They hurt for one another. They cry with eachother. Then go to church together. They are truly in love. But can't get married... Not from lack of willingness or want. But it's not legal. My homosexual friends can't get married because someone out there said it wasn't moral. That it would make marriage a joke. At 59% divorce rate, how much worse could it get? My question is this.. Who out there feels the laws today that stop them from getting married are fine the way they are. And who out there feel that the laws should be changed.
