I have a front loading HE Washer. I love it. It cleans my clothes better than my traditional washer ever did. It uses less water and less energy. It also uses less washing powder. I love this washer. I always do my whites on the white setting. It heats the water to really hot. It rinces for a second time and I add the extra spin cycle. For all my clothes, I use the high spin cycle unless they are delicate. The colors I use cold water on but I still do the second rinc. What kind of washer do you have? Do You Have a Different Procedure for colors and whites when it comes to washing clothes?

I would love to have one of those front loading washer and dryers. I want the red set. Right now I have a regular washer. I don't have a dryer. Well I should say I have a dryer its just not hooked up yet. We are storing it at the neighbors. I moved from a bigger house to a smaller house, the laundry room is tiny. It has no hookup for a dryer and even if it did the dryer might not fit. I would like to get a stackable set. Money is tight right, and thats not a priority.

is HE a name brand or style? Right now I am without a functioning washer and I am really tired of going to the laundromat... as thinking I would like a front loader but it will take some time to save for that luxery... so am tempted to buy the run of the mill cheapo one because it would still be less expensive than the coin ops. tell me, does your washer heat the water itself? like a dishwasher might, and does not require the heat to come from the hot water tank?
