How clean is your car?

Do you wash your car regularly? and when you wash it do you vacuum the inside of it as well? DO you polish the rims and the dashboard? In my city we have water restrictions because of the drought. This means that we can no longer wash our cars with a hose. Because of this I wash my car whenever it rains, which hasn't been very often up until the last couple of weeks). I let the rain froth up the soap and also rinse it off. I also vacuum inside and keep an air freshener in it. I also don't let anyone smoke in it as it is a new car and still smells really nice. How far do you go with cleaning your car?

I clean my expedition weekly. I havent had it too long. I have 3 kids that can be real pigs at times, not to mention the messes my hubby can leave. I have a strict policy about my automobile.....when u exit the vehicle....everything that dont go in there leaves with u...all trash is to be picked up.

I get my car washed once a month, and also vacuum the inside of it and wipe the dust away. I'd love to polish the rims and tyres- but have got no time for that haha.

It is not as perfect as I'd like, as things tend to accumulate in the back, but we live near a car wash and take it through once in a while during the special sale times and before and after trips. We don't vacuum all of the time, but we have a little car vac that draws power from the DC outlet and it lives right there in the car for quick pickups. Once an acquaintance wanted us to give his dog a ride in our car. Not! No animals and no smoking in our vehicle. As a matter of fact we have on our TO Do list to clean the interior tomorrow!

I was my car a couple of times in the summer, in the winter it is pretty pointless as the chance of rain in the Uk means that it will be dirty again very quickly. I am though a bit ashamed to say that I have been meaning to clean the boot of my car for about a week, I will get around to it and maybe it will happen today

Now a days since it is cold out we don't really clean the car. I tried to vacuum it out a few weeks ago but it was just too cold. My husband will rinse it off to get all the nasty dirt off of it. We are better with the cleaning when the weather is nicer.

My car is filthy. I never clean it. It is just too hard to clean without using a hose. Hoses for car cleaning are banned. To try & wash my car with a bucket of water would take ages. I guess I should take it to one of those wash car places.

I must admit, my car is almost always nice and clean. Like you, we haven't been allowed to wash our cars with the hose because of water restrictions, but I have been taking my car to the car wash to get it cleaned. I then drive it home, vacuum it thoroughly and then clean all the vinyl trimmings. As you can see, I can't stand a dirty car! I don't smoke, and never allow anyone to smoke in my car.

I have a junk car and it is not real dirty but its also not real clean or nice. If I had a new car, I'd be diligent with it.

I wash my car 5 times a year or if I happen to drive through a mud puddle this city calls pot holes during a rain storm. I keep the inside neat but with 4 kids sometimes the up keep is a little much. I am only in my car when I have to go somewhere do it doesn't have to be immaculate. As long as nothing is growing in my back seat it is clean enough for me.

car wash - car wash station
Right know I have snow on my car. It is freezing cold and I don't wash my car when is too cold. I may wait for spring to wash my car, or at least when is not freezing. During the warmer season I wash my car once a month.

Clean my car?! Hahaha... I'm lucky if I wash it once a year. I know you're supposed to wash it on a regular basis but I just never do it. We try to keep them picked up inside and all. But vacuuming is something I do when I wash it LOL. I know I'm awful.

I do all of our vehicles about once a month. I have found a product called DriWash'nGuard which cleans, polishes, and protects, without using ANY ADDITIONAL WATER. If you would like to find out about it, I have a company sponsored website at: www.dwgint.net/finlander This company is really into saving our environment. They have many products that, if used, will save water. I like, and use, many of their products. I would recommend any of their fine products.

That is pretty ingenius to use the rain that way coffee shot - I like it! Where I live we are surrounded by water and I can't remember ever having a shortage of it! My car could probably do with a wash as it has been on my grans driveway for well over a year as i am unable to drive! When i am on the road my car is usually spotless, not cause i am good at keeping it that way but rather because I have a friend who is a valeter and he always does it for me, it even smell new despite the fact that it is 14 years old! xxx

I take my Van through the car wash once a week right now because its winter and the salt and what not gets all over it. In the summer I wash it once every 2 weeks because for half the month we have to park under a sap tree and the sap drops all over the windshield and roof making it impossible to see and the sap eats the paint. In the winter I dont really take the time to do the inside of the van other then wipe off the dash because its too cold to stay outside. In the summer the inside gets all polished and cleaned when I take the van to the wash. It gets vaccummed out alot in the summer as well :)
