Being an can be very hard at times when you're not allowed to see your neices or nephews because of a nasty break up from your sibling(s). My brother has 3 children that I know of and I'm only allowed to see 2 of them which isn't fair. I would love to be a part of all of their young lives but it's impossible because my first niece is now 7 and I've been a huge part of her life. My second nephew, I have no idea where he lives and his ex won't let our family be a part of his life. My other nephew well I"m going to see him on Saturday and I'm excited to see him. He's the youngest of the three. It seems my brother's paterns go this way: He will stay with a girl for about a year, then they will get pregnant, and he stays with the girl till she has the baby, then they break up. He tries to see these children but doesn't pay for child support and what I can't understand is why these 3 different women don't take him to court? Any thoughts?

It is true. Being aunt is really hard sometimes. I experienced being a surrogate mom to my nieces and nephews for few times. And it is the hardest tasks I had at home so far.
