Try past paper questions! A lot of questions from previous exam papers are repeated, most of the times they are just structured differently. But if you look at some questions closely you will see similarities. I usually try reading up on the topic before I attempt the question. That way you don't have to study everything. You can just pick out what usually comes for exams. But I guess it depends on whether you have exams every semester or every year... either way, best of luck to you!!!

I think finding a very quiet place without any distractions is key. you have to really focus on what you're studying, or it won't be converted to your long term memory. try mnemonic devices & other retrieval cues (repetition, actually writing down what you're studying, etc.). that's my best advice!

For me re-wrting down the information as I read it to myself....makes it easier to recall later.

I do that also. It does make everything easier. I even did that for speech class.

Teaching the topic to somebody else, notes in hand or not. This of course only works when you already have a general grasp on the thing studied and just need to remember the details. Then there's no better way to remmeber it then explaining it to someone else. You jst have to be sure you're explaining it right. Besides, the feeling when the person you taught excels in the test is so much better than when you yourself do.

Now thats a good way. Never actually thought about teaching it to someone else. I think this makes it easier to remember, but it'll be hard if the topic is hard to remember in the first place.

Thanks. is there a specific reason why studying in the morning is the best. From my past teachers they said that study before sleeping. Because when sleeping your brain supposely reorganized your memory or something. it could be bs lol

Few tips that helped me at Uni... 1) Break the topic up into sub-topics. Once you understand them, put the whole topic back together. It's like understanding each ingredient before you put them together to bake a cake. 2) Someone talked about"thinking like an examiner". What they mean is, look at the subject and think to yourself "If I were testing someone, what kind of questions could I ask. Example, war....who was fighting, when did it start and end, what events started it etc then create sample answers for each case. 3) Make study notes that make sense to you. I used"Mind-mapping" to draw topics and relationships. Other people create their own methods, like sticking revision notes on the wall. 4) create stories about the topic. If you make it interesting to you, even maths and Chemistry can be fun haha! Hard to believe? Well, ask me about"Horrible hairy little begging boys catching Newts..." and I will teach you High School or O Level chemistry in 30 minutes.

Thanks! I gave you all that info and you give 'best answer' to someone who told you what you already know?

I am sure that person that told you are lying. You don't die because you stop studying. Im just pretty sure if you stop studying you become this person. HAHAHA
