Oh my goodness yes. I tell my mom all the time that I love her. Mostly, it's when I'm saying goodbye on the phone, or when I'm visiting her and I'm getting ready to leave. I always give her a quick hug and say, "I love you mom!"... I tell my kids and hubby that I love them constantly too. I don't think you can ever tell a person that you love them too much ;) If you've never told them, I think maybe you could sit down and write them a letter. Tell them that you love them and that you have a hard time expresses yourself and tell them that you plan to start telling them that you love them when you talk to them! That way, when you do say it to them for the first time, they aren't in shock! lol! Good luck to you!

I have never told them by words but have always told them through actions. Whenever I get time I spend it with them and I make sure that I call them daily and talk to them, atleast ask them how are you feeling.

Hello my dear friend c",) good day to you! Well, it's good that you opened this discussion here. Don't worry you are not alone.lol! before.. i was like you. I don't know i find it hard to tell them too. It use to be hard for me to tell them personally.Until i decided that i have to tell them and let them know how much i love them and we are not getting any younger and life is short. So i started it with writing them a letter and then through texting and the over the phone then i got used to it and finally learned to tell them personally. I know you will be in time. Like what most of our friends who responded here, it's important to tell our parents how much they mean to us. Showing them we love them is ok too but it's better if accompanied by words.lol c",) Good luck my friend and i think your parents are lucky to have you as you are to them. It only shows that there is love in your family... God bless and hugz to you dear.

Yes, i have ever i love my parent. We often talk, we often together. If you wanna say love to your parent, you have to near them, speak up about your activity or else. No need more time, no must every time make talk with them. Do it everyday although just 1 minute or more. Communication is important.

During special occasions (Birthday, Anniversy, Christmas), I give them gifts with card on it. Then written there is a heartwarming message with "I Love You" in the end. Then as they read the card and upon appreciating it, hug your parents and tell you love them and care about them so much. Your parents will be so proud of you!
