Do you know of any free software to watermark pictures? I have heard about photoshop and few others but they either are not free or you jut can try it for some time and then have to buy it.

Well, there are a few of them out there, but if you want to do things easily from any PC, then you should just go here and do it. Yes, it's free.

Have fun. I use a lot of online tools as a web designer, You can grab pics already uploaded to Flikr or upload your own.
