How to teach discipline to your kids

I am a mother to a 8, 6 and 1.5 year old kids. I am also a working mother. Actually, I feel guilty to my kids as I have to leave them at home with their granny for 9 hours 5 days a week. So, sometimes I whenever I have time I spoil them by giving them anything they asked. But now, I feel so sorry for what I did, as my elder kids, daugter (8) and son (6) behave badly. they like to watch TV alot, play the wahole day and don't listen to their Granny. I want to teach them discipline that they can arrange their own time, when to play, when to study, etc. Or should I quit my job that I can watch kids better?? Please help me, I don't want my kids to be bad but I also need this job.
