The number of the mylot members are increasing everyday. it has been 120,643 now. I just wonder about the future. Will it be better when more and more people joined here, or worse? You already know, crowd can cause both good and bad situations but how would it effect mylot?

You asked a very salient question but from what i have seen so far, i believe that increase in number will not affect mylot adversely. Mylot, i believe is about intellectual exercise and believe me Ruler, intellectual expressions never die. As long as people breath, there is bound to be happenings in their lives, and what other better place to share it than on mylot.

I also remember in the not-too distant past when myLot was "smaller." I believe the population was definitely under 85,000 people. I think, like you said, it could have both positive and negative effects. There are times when having a lot of different points of view can be a good thing, however I know that some topics can just get convoluted. It's all about quality, and sometimes the bigger population facilitates it, and sometimes it hinders it. All in all, it's good to see so many people involved at myLot.

I think there are good and bad side in increasing number of members. The good think is that there will be more and more active memebers. One of the bad side is that one cannot go through all the discussions post and can find, which all discussions are good. I think it is nice to have more and more members. It is always great to see replies to one's own discussions than have less replies like one or two replies.

Yeah, mylot was totally different the first time I came here. During those times, we can easily distinguish who posts good topics and who were the bad eggs. The earnings and payment were also good, not like right now where you have to fight for every cent and hope that you won't receive any deletions since it'll also affect your earnings. But the most important of all, was the quality of posts made and started by members.. I'm not really sure, but I know that I'm somehow surviving mylot everyday I log on here..

I may be able to give you best example to this. I started around some 7 months back. In the beginning I thought that this is a very good idea and started discussions like hell. I referred some 1000 people and at last I got 11. But all of they are immobile now. Also after some bad episodes and some good, I also slackened a bit. I think that sums up the story. You can rest assured that people joining mylot just for the sake of money involved realises that it is not a bounty and they have to work hard for that, leaves mylot. Only those people who are serious about discussions and friendship stays.
