Linking parks lead singer's stalker arrested....

I got a trip out of this one.
A lady was sentenced to 2 years in prison for stalking chester bennington of linkin park (lead singer) she used her work computers to access personal information about him and his wife and was harrassing them.

howdy..
i really dont understand why people need to 'stalk' another...
dont they have anything better to do?...
why do they need to be so obsessed with other people.. i guess it's ok to like, adore, or idolize someone... but... dont they have their own life to live...
anyway.. good that she's caught - but maybe... counselling would work better for these kinda offences.. - just hope she gets over him... and not 'get worse' after they release her in two years..

Well I guess in sence you are right,counciling should be a must have after theyve gone and done somthing like this. obesseion is all in the mind therefor its mental...

I have mixed feelings on the celebrity vs normal people stalking issue. I do think all stalkers should be dealt with equally, but I can see where it's a bit unbalanced in the celebrity's favor. I mean, these people are living their lives for all to see. It's not uncommon for a single celebrity to have many crazed fans. By handing down a tougher sentence, like two years in jail, it sends a message to everyone and may prevent future stalkers from getting any ideas.
That may be a "good" justification, but I still think, after dealing with a dangerous stalker myself, that the punishment should be the same for everyone...

I think you are right.In my opinnion if you are a "Stalker" theres obsession issues there. when you are "obsessed" theres nothing you wont do to get what you wont. wich could be potentially dangerous. he has what 3 kids now?. thjazt isnt safe for the children. so i think the jail sentence was good:). and everyone should be sentenced the same way. of much more if there is other things involved.

Too funny. I love how you have to be a celebrity to have anything really done to the people that stalk and harass you.
My ex went psycho after I through him out and he ended up getting arrested for trying to break in my front door months after the break up.
He spent 1 day in jail until his bail was posted and got 2 years PROBATION.
Unbelievable!

Yeah,i think i wanna be a celebrity when i grow up LMAO. I remember saying that. But im all about fairness and after ive discoverd just that. that dream went out the window. That they can pay there way out of anything..just got to do it right. mr.ol johnny cocrahn was the best...
