I had a strange way of getting a pizza one snow stormy night. My hubby and I love to ride our snowmobile. And we took a ride one night in the middle of a blizzard at sub-zero degree, in the deepest part of the woods. We trekked about 20 miles into the woods and there we found a sign that says... TO STANDISH HOUSE OF PIZZA. I didn't see it coming. We trekked another 5 miles and found the pizza house parking lot full of snowmobiles. Well, this is my first winter and I've realized how interesting Mainers can go to get a slice of pizza.

LOL ... I'm originally from NH but have never been on a snowmobile. Live in MN for a while too and some folks are fanatical! That reminds me of going to various restaurants in NC and finding that most patrons had been out boating and tied up to the dock to come in for a bite.

Gee, since I came here to Maine (last 29th May 2007) I got the culture shock of my life. But I love it. I have survived 3 seasons already but I'm enjoying my first winter so spring has to wait. I am not jet done with ice-fishing.
