Hey everyone! Thought I would share the pic of my car with a tree on it. I have a 2006 eclipse. It's orange and I absolutely love it. I about fainted when I saw that there was a tree on top of it. I went outside on my porch barefoot wearing just my nightgown. And it was cold. Now there is a dent in the hood, but it could have been so much worse. It is sleeting again today. Winter weather sucks.

Your lucky it only dented the hood it could have bashed out the windshield and I am really happy no one was standing there. Last year we had a really bad ice storm there were trees down everywhere on top of everything, the power lines and power poles snapped like they were toothpicks and we lost power for 10 days not a fun time in January when it is really cold.

Yes, I know. Funny but the ice actually protected the car. It was already covered in ice before all the trees started splitting and falling. I lost power for 8 days. I am so happy to be back home now though. And it is sleeting again. Hopefully I won't lose power or get stuck this time around.

Oh no, I bet even if there is only the big dent in the hood, there will be lots of little scratches once you get a chance to look it over well. So sad for you.

I've called it into the insurance. I haven't had the opportunity to clean it up where I can see it better. Now it is sleeting again so I won't be getting to that anytime soon.

I feel so bad for you, I can imagine what it felt like, I know I'd about faint if anything happened to my baby blue VW Beetle. It's like a child to me!

Yup. The funny thing is I have these 2 barns on my property that are old and one is really falling apart. Well, they are both still standing. If I would have known that, I would have parked my car in the barn. But then I wouldn't be able to get it through the yard to get it out. I posted more pics on myspace. There were 2 trees in my driveway blocking me in. And then one in the road blocking anyone from getting to my drive. My dad came and picked us up. He had to drive thru the field in front of my house and park there. We had to hike to his truck to get out of here. Branches were falling everywhere while we were doing this. The branch that was on my car actually fell on my dad as he was cutting it off my car. He wasn't hurt though. He was trying to keep it from falling on my car further. It was pretty scary actually. He was out here all by himself.
