Art with Sharpies

I use a sequence of steps when it comes to applying the ink to my art. I realized that because of my style, my art appears much better when I use sharpie markers. I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions when using markers and if there is an informational website where I can learn more about techniques and types of markers and color blending usage. Thanks.

That is a pretty logo. I do use sharpies, but do you know that Elmer's makes liquid acrylic "pens" now that work very well for some of the applications where sharpies would be used and they don't bleed as much on cheap paper. They are called Painters Opaque Paint Markers and come in 3 widths and many colors. This is the only brand I've found in local stores, but looking online there are other manufacturers who seem to be making similar products: http://www.dickblick.com/zz213/12/ The "Painters" pens are the only such product I have yet tried, but they are remarkably useful and a pleasure to have.
