American Idol voters must be crazy!

Colton Berry voted off..... - colton berry

I can't believe they voted Colton Berry off and left Chekezie for another week! I agreed with Simon for a change when he didn't like Chekezie and wonder what in the world people liked so much about him. Granted he was doing a 60's song but I don't think he has a good voice or much of a stage presence. Colton Berry really belted out his song and I think he looked great on stage. I'm too old to be a "groupie"...lol....so it's not that he's young and cute...again...lol...in my opinion he was good. If you watched the show tonight what did you think about this decision? Did you like one of them more than the other?

I have to, as I do a lot, disagree with you. Chikezie wasn't that bad. Now, I don't think that Colton was that bad either. Nor do I think they were or should be compared to each other... it's just that Ryan put them together. And as people always say...you can't complain about votes unless you voted yourself. So Did you vote? Did you vote for Colton? If you say no... than you really do have no place to complain. Of the 4 people who were kicked off I only guessed one person right. Last year I was on the ball with all of my guesses. Amy Davis was the one I guess right. Of the dudes my guess were either David Hernandez, Luke Menard or Jason Yeager. None of them went. The chicks were Amy Davis, Amanda Overmyer or Kristy Lee Cook. I wasn't that surprised when Joanne went after I thought about it...but I still think she was better than some of the others. Amanda hasn't sounded different at all and that's important and last year or the year before there was a chick who did the skat thing and she went home early. So that's why I figured it'd be her. But I don't vote ... nor will I ever vote so I don't complain about the decisions.

This is the first year I have gotten into American Idol since I'm not a big reality show buff. Yes, I even voted and yes I voted for Colton and ...lol...I had my son and daughter do it to even though they don't watch the show.

lol...which is the reason I don't like to vote for anything. It seems I'm always for the underdog!

I actually didn't like either of them. The one I felt for was Joanne and even though I agreed she didn't sing well Wednesday night, I was hoping she would get another chance to stay for another week. I don't know what it is but there is something about her voice I liked. Aren't the young ones doing great this year!!!!!

Yes the young ones are doing great this year and I personally love to see that. Sometimes it takes a break like this to get them started when they deserve it.

I really liked both colton berry and chekezie. I can't believe that the poor guy who sang 'Moon River' (or whatever that old song was) was allowed to stay over colton! The guy I'm speaking of needed to be singing on a cruise ship for middle-aged adults! This is the first year that I have watched American Idol and so far I am not impressed. There is a lot of down time and the show doesn't need to be stretched into 2 hours or even an hour and a half. There is a lot of 'filler' that could be cut. Oh well, to each his or her own!

I agree I think the other guy should of went, and I also believe they let the wrong girl go to the first one. I have a hard time keeping up with the names, but some times I think they chose on how many many call in from the state they are from, instead of how good they are. I didn't think that guy Garret from Ohio was so good but they praised him on the TV here. I couldn't get through to vote this week, in the total 2 hours said all circuits busy, till time was up. We will see where it goes from here.

Chikezie did perform better today while many didn't. David still tops the male singers.

I liked Colton better myself also. I thought he did very well singing Elvis's song "Caught In A Trap". That is one of my favorite Elvis songs. Chekezie didn't sound as good to me as Colton did either.

The 2 guys that were vote off this week where the 2 that I predicted. I didn't like his song and I found him kinda boring. It wasn't Chekezie best performance, but I think he was better then Colton, but it's my opinion. The male are very strong this year. Just can't wait to hear more from them next week :)
