Have you seen the commercials for 10,000 BC? Do you think you will see it?

The movie is a prehistoric epic that follows a young mammoth hunter's journey through uncharted territory to secure the future of his tribe. The only actor in it that is familiar to me is Omar Sharif but other than that it looks like a cool movie to me. The animals look huge and I enjoy movies with a "cast of thousands"...lol. Last weekend the wife and I & our daughter went and saw Fools Gold. They had about a 5 minute preview of 10,000BC. It looks very good. It's a different take on the original 10,000BC that starred Raquel Welch way back in the late 60's I think. But with the computer generated action and the computer graphics it looks very good. I'll be going to see this real soon myself.

You know....I knew the name sounded familiar and now I know why! Yes Raquel Welch did star in that but I didn't like the movie. This one does look a lot better since technology has come such a long way.

This movie looks like it will be a good one. Yes I want to go see it,but will have to wait for it to come out on DVD, I have always like the prehistoric films. The commercials for it look like fun. Omar Sharif is one of my favorite actors.

I rent a lot of movies rather than go to the theater to see them. however, this is one I think you have to see on the big screen. The special effects in the coming attractions look incredible. This one gets my vote for a trip to the movies. Now, for the other family members to agree - I have one voting for step down 2 instead. Quite a difference huh? whit

i've seen the trailer and i think its worth watching it in the big screen. Steven Strait played the role of the young mammoth-hunter, he's Warren Peace in the movie Sky High and caleb in the Covenant if you remember. i dont recognize his leading lady but shes pretty.
the special effects was good but i think if they done the language in ancient languge -like mel gibson did in Apocalyto- it would be better. just me though^^

Morning ctry,.....yes, I want to see it too!
My sister and I are going in March when it opens up. I have two free tickets to the show, so we decided to take a shot and see that movie. It looks pretty good from the previews, and like you said, the animals look huge, and it looks like it will be fun to watch.
Wasn't Raquel Welch in a movie many, many years ago called that?..I wonder if it's taken off of that movie and re-made, hmmmmm.
