handwriting...

My dad was the one who encouraged me to improve on my handwriting when I was in grade school. He is an engineer and he writes very well especially when he writes in prints. He also has a good cursive handwriting. Mom also has a good handwriting. Since grade school, I was so conscious as to how my handwriting was and so I got to improve it as time went by. I appreciate what my parents taught me about good handwriting especially now that I am teaching. A good handwriting especially on the chalkboard and whiteboard is appreciated by students. How about you? Is your handwriting neat and good or sloppy?

I agree... there are times when my handwriting becomes really ugly because I am not used to the pen I am using. Weird but true...

I personally think that my handwriting is not really that good. Readable... but not as good as it should be. Well, for as long as it is readable, there's nothing I should worry about.

well I teach adults with a wide variety of educational problems, the vast majority stem for appauling teaching in the early years of education. Most of my job is undoing the work carried out by incompitant individuals. One of the things many of my students have is very neat handwriting. Rather than sloppy I would say my handwriting is appropriate to the situation, but when i meet someone with excessively neat handwriting, i now wonder what is going on under the surfice, where are the bodies hidden? blessed be

I have always been told that I have beautiful handwriting. My father also was the one to insist that I practice everyday and sometimes for hours. Naturally as a child it bothered me to no end to have to stay in and study in such a manner, but now I'm proud when people comment on it.

I think that having good handwriting is important. I think that I probably have gotten a lot of respect from my ability to write well, handwriting that is. t just makes it easier for people to understand your thought when you write well. I typically handwrite my articles and then transcribe to the computer for submission.

My handwriting is an interesting blend of cursive and print. It wavers from pole to pole with my mood and attachment.

I think i have a pretty handwriting if i write carefully and not just hurry things away. But since i'm in a hurry most of the time, it now appears just plain sloppy.

I think my handwriting is sloppy especially when I am in a rush to write something down. If I am filling in forms then I take my time and try to write nicely but I would say my writing is sloppy. My husband has better writing that I do!

I have not trained for hand writing. My hand writing was not settled for a long time. When I was assigned to drafting in my job, my hand writing got improved. So I have advised my children to pay more concentration on hand writing. We can improve our handwrting only by continueous practice.

I got the same advice from a teacher and honestly he was right. Handwritting allows you to write alot faster. When i first stated hanwritting i could barely read it myself. However after using it for sometime its gotten better as know my teacher and other people can not only read it but i occasionally get a compliment.
