What Kind of Cat is Yours?

Mine are both Heinz 57 mongrels! One is pure black on top but snow white underneath, the other is brown, grey and white. I would never spend $600 (that´s what they cost here) on a pure breed like a Persian or Siamese because there are so many strays that need good homes here.

Bo
Oh she´s adorable, she´s a ginger tabby. She looks a little like one of mine. Her name is Bo and today was the first day a neighbouring tomcat appeared in our back yard looking interested. UH OH!!!! Bo is about five months old, so I think we should get her "done" soon (she was one of four abandoned cats I took in and we can´t really afford to keep more so it´s kinder to get her sterilised then let her breed then remove her babies I think).

My last 2 were Russian Blues. They're in kitty heaven now. The first one found us, the second one I paid $35 for him only because he was already fixed. Aloha!

My Cats, and Kittens are all Heinzist... A little bit of everything. They are all cats that been either dumped, or born out here due to male strays wandering in yearly before I catch and tame them, and get them used to hanging around. By then they really do not care... to mate, and the females will run them off if they do not choose to go by their rules, so most of our male cats are cuddle little push overs, and hang out with the dogs all days, as the females with eachother and their kittens.... We started off with a black Calico cat that had some white markings. Then we had brown white and yellow calicos then in Wandered Tiger and we had Tiger Tabby mixed breeds with Calicos, and then in wandered Moochey, and we had Russian Blue, Calico, Tabby mixed breeds, and then in wandered a box cat mixed. So now we have Bobacat,Calico,Tabby,Tiger silver and brown, and light brown and grey, and Grey, mixed breed them in wandered Tom a large black and white self color. Then we had self color mixed breeds, then in wandered ambrosia a beautiful light orange tabby who then had kittens and the two blood lines bred, then in came Angel who was dumped, who was long hair black hair kitten... And then two years ago we were shocked... We had 2 siamese kittens, and one Himalyan, as we all look at eachotehr wonderng where they came from in the blood line. This year most of them resemble a type of siamese, himaylan, and Tabby, and some solid color black cats, a grey one, and White cat with a blackest tabby tail who maybe changing color into Tiger tabby like her mother did... It is very interesting our Heinzist Kitty, all are wounderful they all have beautiful eyes, and all have many unique traits about them, as our guests are always guessing exactly what breed they are as they look like purebreds of this or that breed, but in reality they are all little Heinzists, a little bit of everything. (We say Heinzists and not heinz 57 cause that is ketchup and my kitties are not ketchup, they are a little bit of everything. lol.) - DNatureofDTrain
