Microsoft announces that We are going to launch Windows 8.0. So do you know about it and its performance? Is it rumour or right?

no i have never heard of tht yet. i have heard of windows 98, windows 2000, windows xp.. etc,,,. hope if it launches tht version it would be excelent as all his windows r great to work on...

Windows 8.0 could be a new version of windows mobile as they are in the final stage of windows mobile 7.0??

I have never heard it before. I don't know why it will be Windows 8.0 suddenly. Where is Windows 4.0, 5.0, 6.0?:)

Windows 4.0 would be Windows 95, Windows 4.1 = Windows 98, Windows 4.9 = Windows ME, Windows 5.0 = Windows 2000, Windows 5.1 = Windows XP, Windows 6.0 = Vista. There you have it. :)

Never heard of it. The newest version of Windows I've heard and seen is Vista, that's Windows 6.0. Even the newest mobile version is 6.0. BTW, from the attached image, all I see is the French version of Windows XP. And using Windows Media Player 9. That's definitely XP. Not to mention that all systems icons visible on the desktop are XP style... If I had to guess the operating system used in the attached picture, I'd say not more than Windows XP Service Pack 2. Did I mention the taskbar, which is in XP's silver color scheme? :p
