I have been with my family for a year now

Abigail here I have been with my family for almost a year now. I sure to have it good here. I use to live on the streets and had to sleep outdoors all the time. I was beaten up and have one eye that does not open up all the way. I have a nasty scar on my lower jaw and one of the tips of my ears are clipped off and I have some hearing problems, but mom and dad still love me. Yes they do they really, really, love me. I have a brother and a sister. My sister is Sammy a girl who is a kitty just like me. She is older than I and is a little grouchy at times. She loves me and holds me down to clean me. She will not play with me but I love here anyway. Then I have Petie who is a doggy he will play with me. Petie is so small but and he barks at me. I let him think he has power over me but he does not. I love to chase him up and down the hallway.
Mom is so good to me she feeds me in the middle of the night well at four in the morning. She lets me sit on her lap and pets me and sometimes she gets a brush out and brushes me. I love it when she brushes me.
The best part of living here is that I can go around the neighborhood and eat at all my friend’s homes. I have a friend in a home behind that serves the best food and I have a friend two houses down that sometimes does not have much food but she does feel sorry for me at times. I also have some treats from other neighbors. I love my neighbors. I do bring my friends home but mom will not let me share my food.
The problem is mom is worried about all the weight I have gained. I have gained about 7 pounds in the year. I keep telling mom that I am OK it is just that I am finally happy and finally have food to eat. I use to be starving and had no food at times when I was homeless. I now have lots of food so I love to eat. Mom is losing weight so way do I have to!

great! Arn't I a pretty girl? I do not care if I am fat I am finally happy for the first time in my life I have a mom and dad who really love me and a brother and sister.
By the way my brother burried a bone yesterday he thinks I do not know where it is but I do. I just do not like chewing on old bones. I love food lots and lots of food. Give me food more and more food.
If you guys talk to mom please tell her not to worry about me I am fine and I love here and am finally happy in my life.

Oh Abigail, you look absolutely stunning. I love the way the eyes match the leaves in the background. You are a beautiful cat. Tell your mom that you are just big boned and as long as your doctor says that you are okay, she has nothing to worry about. Be good to your family, especially, that little brother of yours. He's quite a character.

Hi Abigail,
For some strange reason, I cannot see the photo of you. I wish I could though. My computer's been acting up, so who knows what the problem is. Please tell your mom for me, that she doesn't have to worry about your weight. I'm sure you're just enjoying the benefits, of being in a loving, caring home now.:)

Thanks Auntie Rozie mom told me you had the flu I hope you are doing better. I can come and sit on your lap and purr.
The vet gave mom what for last time I was in to see him. The vet was upset that I lost my girlish figure. I do not care I have a family who loves me.

Tell your mom not to worry and that you are not fat. Like the PP states you are big boned. And that beautiful fur coat that you always wear is well lined and keeps you warm. Beside you hate to be waisteful and want to help clean the plates after each meal so you mom doesn't have to scrub them.

Thanks I do have a great fur coat.
You will not belive what I did to mom. I took one of my bowls that mom fed me out of and gave it to the neighbor so she can fill it up. That way I can always have a full dish at the neighbors. At least that is what mom thinks I did with the dish it is missing from the place mom feeds us. I do not know what happened to it. I think my brother Petie took it and hit it from me so I would not be able to eat.

Maybe Petie did eat it I did not think of that. He would do something like that to get me in trouble.

Are you sure he didn't eat it? Baby brothers can be sure a pain huh? I am 3 years older than my brother and he was a huge pain growing up but now that he is an adult we get along great. Oh yeah, put him in his place now while he is still samller than you. My brother gained on me quickly and by the time he was 4 and i was 7 he was as tall as me. The next year he passed me up. Yeah I was 8 and my 5 year old brother was taller than me.

Gissi I am not a pain I just love my Petie he is so small compaired to me. I love teasing him. It's not my fault that I have hitch hickers and they get on him

You look like a big girl too. Maybe your meowmy needs to keep you inside, or at least only let you out when she's with you.
We've had a couple of big cats come in and have lost weight, except for Serena, she's definately GAINED a LOT of weight.

Meowmy came home and grabbed Serena. She took her away and brought her back, smelling of the vets. Boy, Serena has been having to go out a lot lately, wonder why. I hear meowmy is happy about something to do with Serena and "new home." but this is her home... I think....

I drive mom crazy because I am use to living out doors. I love to be out in the wilds. The problem lies is when I am out doors the buffet line at the neighbors homes calles me I can here it in my sleep. The neighbors have the most delicious foods around.

Hi gal! It's us Pyewacket and Kissy...and my it's our opinion that your one beautiful gal kitty, you look so content lying in the yard there. Oh, my we didn't know you had such a rough start in life...being homeless, living on the streets, sleeping outdoors all the time...and starving most times...how horrible! But things turned out well for you with your mom and dad and I just know your mom especially loves you the way our mom does to us. And it's nice that you have a brother and sister and many friends that you can visit. And maybe you and Sammy and Petie don't always get along but I bet you'd miss each other's company if you didn't have it. The two of us don't always get along too well but we would sure miss each other if we didn't have each other's company. Thumbs up...you look great..love Pyewacket and Kissy

Pyewatcket and Kissy how do you stand your name? I hate it when mom has to kiss on me. Well I act like I hate it but I really really love it. I just don't want mom to kown it. Please will you keep my secret, pretty please with sugar on top. I Know with cat treats on top. Mom gives us two treats with our dinner every night if you two don't tell mom that I love my kisses I will share my treat with you two.
I do love my home. Last night I slept on moms chest hahahahaha. She turned over and snuggled around me until she had to get up and sit on that while thing that makes all that noise when she pushes the handle. I do not know why she cannot just go in the cat box like Sammy and I do. The I got mad and slept on the end of the bed unitl 4am when it was time for breakfast. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Oh Abigail you are beautiful! You remind me of my cat called Isabella. I adopted her from the vets that I used to work at. She was a dumped cat but now she lives a life of luxury with me and her buddy Nigel, who's 4 months old. Isabella is like a mother to Nigel, even though they didn't like each other at first. Isabella has the same pretty green eyes as you and also the same colourings. As long as you watch your weight, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful and happy life!

Thanks for saying I am pretty. I love to sit outside by that plant. Mom loves to take photos of all the time.
