normally i dont really care about the meaning of my dreams...but then lately, i had a nightmare where i actually woke up crying. i was disturbed the whole day and i decided to surf the net to find out the meaning. i came across a website where they have a forum to discuss about dreams. i posted my dreams in there and some other members came in and explained it to me...it's really cool!

I'll sometimes use online dream dictionaries to try to figure out what certain images mean, but if I want a full analysis, I'll usually go to my "psychic" friend and ask her what the whole dream means. I can't seem to figure these things out on my own.

Yes I analyze my dreams and I've helped others analyze theirs...dreams have the answers to our problems among other things....Generally when one analyzes a dream if they arent aware they will only consider the seemingly strange parts but anything that is remembered is a key right down to numbers, colours, ppl (who btw arent necessarily those ppl even if its someone you know or recognize), day or night, buildings and parts of buildings (example being rooms, stairwells etc), actions and so on.....For those interested the best way to start is to keep a pad an pencil by your bed and if you have a vivid dream jot down everything you remember (just in single word or pointform is fine) including things that may not seem important to you at the time....then take it from there....you could use a dream dictionary as a guideline (ONLY as a guideline) or like someone mentioned you could meditate on it etc....Dream analysis is actually quite interesting and can be extremely helpful too

I feel that dreams have a direct connection to how you are feeling and where you are in life. They can really tell a lot about your anxieties, fears and aspirations.
