If we down load SURFBARS AND TOOLBARS is it safe for the System / myLot

Many times I see on the Internet down load SURFBARS AND TOOLBARS to earn money. Is it safe if we down load them. I heard some where these softwares will scan all our details. And also through some the system gets Virus. Is it true, or we can safely down load them. Please let me know.

i would advise against it, usually these types of downloads are full of adware and spyware. download at your own caution.

Thanks for your advise. If there is no threat of Virus then it is ok.
