I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem as me with their ipod. Sometimes when i leave my ipod it my car when its really cold out for long periods of time, like when i go to work, school, or just go to the store, it wont turn on. It happens all the time. I ususally just sit on it for a while until it warms up and then it works just fine.

Yeah, it's because batteries don't function very well when they get cold. Your best bet would be to take it inside with you, stick it in your pocket, even a jacket pocket, put it in your bag... Leaving it in the car when it's cold isn't good for it. At least, I wouldn't think it's good for it. It's not good for any other electronic device to be exposed to temperature extremes, so I'd think that an ipod wouldn't be any different.

No, I've never had this problem. What sort of iPod do you have? I often leave my shuffle in my gym bag in the car but it works just fine the next day. If you have the iPod classic they use a different drive to that of the shuffle so maybe it's more sensitive to extreme temperatures.
