http://video.aol.com/video-detail/death-threat-elmo/165883009 I'm not kidding. A Florida mother changes the batteries in her son's Elmo doll and it started saying 'Kill James.' WFLA reports. What would you do if your son's favorite toy started spouting this and he would repeat exactly what it was saying?

It's odd that a simple battery change would prompt the odd behavior in Elmo, but it really makes me wonder about the company and how well this product was actually tested before it was sent out to stores for customers to purchase. It's unsettling really, to know your child could be playing with a toy that wants to kill it's owner.

I'm making sure my children can be entertained without so much technology. Because if this is going to be how our toys talk. Then I'm not sure if I want them.

I went to go view the video, but it said it was expired. This was probably a programmer's sick joke. One, who probably does not have children. My kid's would have nightmares about it. I would be on the phone to the manufacturer.
