Why is life so hard?

I know you all know this but I just got back home on Tuesday after an 8 day power outage from the really bad ice storm that we got last Monday and Tuesday. I was so happy to back in my house even though I had to clean it top to bottom. Dogs stayed in here while I was gone. It was too cold for them to be outside. Not the point, anyway.
The tree fell on my car, but only left a small dent. I am probably gonna get a new hood out of it.
The thought NEVER crossed my mind that I might run out of propane. Well, we got another ice storm yesterday. Only not as bad as the first one. I got mandated tonight and just got home about 9pm. I walked inside and my house is freezing. I look at the thermostat, it says 50. O my gosh! I'm out of propane.
No big deal, I thought. I'll call them tomorrow and get them to bring some. I can make it a few more days. Well, then I realized my yard looks like a disaster area. I cannot even walk to my propane tank. How is amerigas gonna get their huge truck to it???
And due to this week's ice storm the road, driveway, and yard are a solid sheet of ice. It's hard to drive in my car. I slid 3 times on the road coming home from work.
O my gosh! I am about to pull my hair out! What's a girl to do? I can't seem to get ahead.

I am trying. I am sitting in my freezing cold living room right now. I went to Walmart and they had some electric heaters on sale for $25. Pretty big ones but I am still cold.

Yes, I bought one. Got propane today too. I'm happily warm once again.

Hello there, life sometimes is hard, but not always. Especially it depends on what we compare with. In general, many people who live in the cities are used to the comfortable and convenient life with car; gas; petrol etc. the high standard necessities provided. To face or deal with something unexpected like storm, any natural disaster, it will cause them panic and worries. In fact, there are lots of poor people who are in a much worse living conditions. Their life will be harder. Therefore, the verdict about ‘life is hard’ totally depends on indivially’s view.

Wow, I can't even tell you with out sounding like I am whining what I have been through. I look at it this way. I am prepared for anything, will be able to survive anything, and am well balanced because anything that could go wrong in my life, has gone wrong. Yet I am still here, to write, to share, and to hopefully inspire others with my survival gifts.
Remember, the harder the journey, the greater the rewards.

I feel the same way.
Have you read the secret?
It's about the law of attraction. I am trying so hard to live by it. I have had a couple of great experiences so far. I will keep plugging away at it though.
