Little things

Sometimes, I love sitting outside on a warm summer's day just sipping lemonade or iced tea and finding pictures in the clouds. I love at night, when my kids are sleeping and I look at them and there is a small little smile on their faces. I love the sound of my childrens' laugh. I like to watch the sunset, I love the pinks and purples in the sky. Sometimes I like to sit quietly in the woods and watch the deer, rabbits, birds, whatever animals cross my way. I love the smell of lilacs, rain and pine trees, among other things. I smile when I see a rainbow and even though I hate the cold, I can remember times when I saw ice crystals formed on tree branches and admired how pretty it looked...At times I am a very complex person, but I love and appreciate a lot of simple little things in life. How about the rest of you? Do you enjoy simple things? Do you take them for granted? Please share.

You are very observant and in tune with the world. I, too like to look at the "little things". Sometimes it is nice to sit on the patio early in the morning and listen to the birds start their morning. I have even discovered there is a bit of a "pecking order" with them as they seem to chirp in order. Nature is fascinating and really makes me think about the Creator. I learned a long time ago not to take things for granted. They can be gone in a flash.There is beauty in everythng from the petulant child to the singing of the mockingbird to the science of saving lives. More of us need to step back from the daily routine to really look and listen to the world around us.

-Waking up and realizing you have an hour before you actually have to get ready for the day.
-Sitting outside on a warm summer day and just thinking about life.
-Finding an money in clothes I hadn't work since last season
-Having a full day to just sit around the house watch some movies and make some food

I like doing little things especially I'm a very loner type. I like sitting or lying in my room and just think of whatever I like to kill time. Sometimes I go out and hang out in a coffee shop and just sit there for a while watching people pass by and vehicles park in front. I like that. I rarely go to the beach which I prefer because it's a bit far from my place. I like sitting in some remote place with a book in hand and just read the whole time until I get hungry. I like doing things that make me feel I have and I own my time. Something like that..
