Mystery Shopping

I've been hearing a little bit about mystery shopping recently, and it sounds appealing to me, but I have no idea where to start. What are your experiences/thoughts? I'd appreciate any advice and recommendations, especially from those of you that are in the UK. Thanks in advance.
