For breakfast, eggs and oatmeal make me feel the best for a long time. For lunch, fresh picked greens, fresh picked chives or onions, and yogurt. Supper, if I can find a low salt soup or stew, that's when I feel the best. What foods make you feel the best?

Meat, it keeps my blood sugar from getting low, fills me up and leaves me satisfied. I actually like beef, buffalo or lamb best, tho pork also does it. I hope your not a vegetarian and I have upset you. Fact is that I get to eat meat only a few times a week because of my allergies and I always feel most content when I can eat it.

Heck no, I'm not a vegetarian and if I was, that would be for my own reasons. Tried it and had problems, long story, will tell someday. I love rabbit, buffalo, someone that knows how to cook lamb like grilled, and some cuts of pork, fresh pork. Can you have nuts? They help keep sugar from getting low, too. Take care and glad my husband is indoor grilling right now, you've got me so hungry! Thanks and take care.

I have never cared for "true" nuts. I'll eat other things that are called nuts, but don't care for pecans, walnuts, brazil nuts etc. Cashews are not true nuts, nor peanuts (tho peanuts don't like me.) I'll eat almonds, but I don't REALLY like them, since they are in the same family as peaches I guess that kind of explains that, I had a bad reaction to a peach once. I've eaten and enjoyed rabbit and venison, but have trouble finding and cooking them myself.

That's hard, I like true and untrue nuts (I know what you mean about peanuts, I grew some once and they grow underground). Rabbit, haven't had any in years, have a hard time getting that, too. Venison, my brother often has that given to him. So every once in a while, I have that. Take care and thanks.

Physically, a wonderful salad full of tons of vegetables and grilled chicken makes me feel good. I feel like I'm eating well and not overly full. For supper a beef barley soup or some other homemade soup with whole grain bread. Emotionally now, a really great cheese pizza makes me feel like I've had the best treat I can get and feels great I have to admit. Physical and emotional eating can be at odds at least for me. whit

Oh, me, too. I feel like half a gallon of ice cream when emotional eating, but I feel pretty fat and my mouth is frozen and I've bit my entire mouth up! I really loved Subway's new honey mustard terioki chicken salad now. A double or triple cheese pizza sounds really good to me, too. Thanks for your response. Take care

Sounds like you are on a very healthy diet. I commend you for eating like this and eating healthy. What makes me feel good is a cold Pepsi and chocolate..lol Tells you how I like to eat the wrong foods. I do watch the chocolate and don't eat very much but every now and then I need a chocolate fix. Dark chocolate is good for the heart so I always tell my husband I am taking my heart medication. No answer, he simply looks at me. I do try to eat fish and pasta once a week. Haven't ever been a good breakfast eater and still don't bother with it. I know it's the most important meal. My appetite is not always there as I get older. I won't eat unless I am hungry or because it's a certain time of the day.

Oh bummer. Where's the edit button. Where is the edit button..lol The last sentence didn't make any sense. I won't eat unless I am hungry. If it's 6pm and dinner time, in my husband's eyes, I won't eat if I am not hungry. I will eat later or sometimes have been known to skip dinner if I had a big lunch.

I know what you meant. My husband doesn't eat breakfast either, according to him. He eats mid-morning at work. Usually something sweet like muffins or pateries. He's not hungry when he gets up because he eats so late at night. I couldn't do that, I would have gastric reflux. I eat some chocolate as a treat and some pumpkin pie, too. Take care

I also love oatmeal and stews...they're comforting, hearty, and healthy. I love trail mix for snacking. I love big salads and veggie stir fry too.

I love to have a good tuna sandwich about once a week, too. Mine would have mayo, lettuce, and a huge slice of onion, but garlic mayo sounds cool to me. Thanks for your response, very cool!
