I'm 23 years old. I am pregnant and my heart is broken. I am starting this discussion to get views from peole who have experienced this and to open the people to possibilities of how can one true happiness and fairytale like story could end up in failure.

You are still VERY young. The first thing you should do is release any doubt about yourself. You must tell yourself that just because your heart is broken, doesn't mean it can't be mended. The are REAL MEN out there that will accept you and your unborn child as you are. I can't see you, but I can tell you that you are beautiful, inside and out. We all find ourselves in MANY bad relationships at one point in our lives or another. Why? Because we are stuck in a pattern of people we THINK we "deserve" I believe in the power of positive thinking. The universe "hears" your thoughts. If you are constantly thinking negative thoughts, you are going to get negative returns. I recommend reading a book by Louise Hays called "You Can Heal Your Life". It has changed my life for the better. The sooner you start changing your belief patterns.. the sooner your broken heart will be on the mend. Good Luck!!
OH I have one of those men I spoke of (but I promise, there are more like him, we have been happily married for almost 17 years. I have 2 teenagers.
