petting makes dogs more beautiful

we have dogs since childhood and I have noticed our dogs were healthier than others. Food obviously matters but I dont know I feel the more they are in contact with human body they look more vivecious, vibrant. Our neighbours have dogs but apart from keeping them wonderfully they dont touch them.I dont find them shiny like ours.Me and my brother hug them tightly, play hide and seek, give them a massage where we just cuddle and cuddle them.I personally feel that they grow bigger and better.Do you dog lovers agree?
