Try PClinuxOS its the best for me. i tried ubuntu, opensuse, redhat, fedora core, gentoo, slackware, but PCLinuxOS fits my taste.

I use Kubuntu 10.1 and I really like it. kubuntu is a breeze to install and a pleasure to use. Depends on what you use the computer for. If you use it primarily for gaming, then I don't see any other option besides Windows. If you use it for occasional surfing, mailing, typing, etc, I would recommend a Mac, using Mac OS X. It's easy to use and is based on Unix (BSD), so it's also very stable. The downside is that you have to buy a Mac computer. Although there are some disc images Mac OS X for PC loose on the net, I'm 99% sure it's illegal to use, even if you do own a Mac. I don't really like Linux. Although Linux is improving on user-friendliness and plug&play support, it's still far from the user-friendliness you get from Windows and Mac OS X. In my opinion, the best Linux distro would be SuSE Linux.
