Nah, my belief, as it were before, is still the same. The book was research based so its interesting to find out something about someone so famous with something different. They were all plausible count to think of it..

or maybe its a controversial theory that just pieced together by coincidences in order to become a one big bestseller hit...

Certainly not, it spurred me to read up on other things related to Jesus' life and about Mary Magdalene, too. I always thought it strange that Jesus should've been celibate since God wanted him to live as a human. I always believed he probably married and had children, else he wouldn't understand humans. The DaVinci Code reinforced my religion, if anything. It also introduced me to a very enjoyable author!

the results really vary considering our individuality, personality and beliefs, strong beliefs will not be shattered whatever, its called faith, maybe those who have less faith tend to be shaken... (at least the book was enjoyable and very well written)

I have read the book as well as seen the movie. It didn't shake my beliefs. Even if the theory the book told is true, it's still OK for me. I think it's OK if Jesus really married and got children. Many spiritual master in the world lived like ordinary people, getting married, having children etc.

am not a christian as such n whtvr little i've read in the extracts of bible and the articles bout it.. i nevr gave a thoght to jesus being a celibate or somethin like tht.. althogh it doesn make a difference to me evn if he was married cause tht's quite humane.. but still it was quite interestin to know bout the facts i never gave a thought to n accordin to me whtver was the truth had some hidden element to it too which was unearthed n i jus became more aware.. no faith or shatters involved...!!
