Strong character pays you in the long run

Its true that to build a strong character we have to go through lot of suffering, I can give my husband and my example who suffered a lot financially but never compromised with our character. With the Grace of God we have come out of it and can walk anywhere with our head high. Today I was reading abook and found these lines very interesting and would like to share with mylot friends: Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only with experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved. Do you have any such incident to narrate where you have strengthened your character?
