Global Warming

I saw on 30 Seconds to Mars's video for A Beautiful Lie today that in about 2 years I believe almost 1/4 of the arctic crust has melted? It was something like that. Anyways, if you haven't seen that video I really recommend it - great song and great message. However, what are your thoughts on global warming and trying to save our environment? This winter has been ridiculously bad - I live in New England and have seen more snow in the past 4 months than I have ever in my whole life. Not exaggerating. It worries me, a lot, and I'm very concerned on this issue and what we can do to fix it. Does anyone else share this opinion?

We have always lived in tornado alley and for as long as I can remember, you knew exactly what was coming in the spring and early fall. Not anymore. I have been saying for the past few years that the weather is getting worse and more unpredictable. We just had a major outbreak at the beginning of February! Isn't that ringing any bells for anyone? We should have taken global warming more seriously in the early 80's. Now we are having to play catch-up and I wonder if we aren't a little too late.

Exactly! It's so scary, because there's so much we have to do, but we might be too late.

i think all of us already realized the effect of global warming since every part of this world has the effect. you can see that some area getting worst floods which never be happened before. hurricane, high waves of oceans and lots more getting happened recent days. in fact, we can not predict the weather anymore. its easily to be changed from sunny day to be rainy day and back to sunny day per few seconds :( the only thing that we can do personally is like planting one tree each person, throwing garbage in to the right place, not too cutting trees easily, use every energy more wisely.
