Autism is NOT a Tragedy; Ignorance Is The Tragedy...

Autism is treatable... - I know that parents of autistic children are at a loss as to what to do with them for the rest of their lives. But with education and training, parents can actually help their children improve their condition and make considerable improvements....it is strongly suggested that they make contact with the Autism Society, which is a worldwide organization in order to receive professional advice in dealing with their autistic children...

According to studies, 1 in 150 children is being diagnosed within the Autism Spectrum Disorder. It is said that there is no one specific cause of autism known yet, but while therre is still no cure for autism, IT IS TREATABLE. With early intervention, many children with autism make considerable improvements. Parents have to empower themselves to give these children a better life. Yesterday I attended a forum organized by the Autism Society, an realized that the disorder is not the tragedy per se; it's the way people see it (the condition) that makes it real tragic...parents should reach out to these organizations which will help them cope with the condition, and improve the lives of their children. Check websites of these worldwide organizations before it's too late.
