Do you think some people start discussion just to get a fight going?

yes... i think ppl come with a bad mood and just see a stupied question adn respond with a poopy attitude ya know

I think that kind of topic can easily be hot topic. And the one who start it can collect a lot of information from the discussion. As one of my friends have use the method to find out what people really think, and how many percent of people support her idea. After knowing that, she can bring out a suitable solution of a problem. I think she makes good use of resources of mylot here.

If I wanted to fight I would have gotten married or joined the army..but wait..i did these things..well, no i don't want to fight..i would like a pleasant conversation and learn something. It is not all drama that brings us here..sometimes it is comedy or the need to just say "hello" how is things your way?

Oh yes. I call them "pot stirrers". Seriously, and it isn't just on MyLot, it is on every forum type site across the World Wide Web. Its pretty ridiculous at times, kind of a "look at me" tactic. I just ignore them.

Yes I absolutely do think this is done on myLot. I began a discussion the other day and had received many interesting responses agreeing and disagreeing with me. However, there was this one( I wont mention any names) that was very unnecessary. It was rude, and completely immature. I did some research on the respondee and It was clearl that they were new and looking for shock value. They were trying to make a name for themselves. I wish I new how to contact myLot then as I do now. People have to understand that myLot is a site for mature people to discuss there opinions be it right or wrong with others. No one should have the right to purposely attack anyone. I have since had to take off notification of discussiona off for a certain few. I am here to learn and listen as well as share my experiences and opinions. SOme people cant handle life online or off without a little drama. They figure they're online so noone will know who they are when they're acting mean and offensive. If we ban together and dont be afraid to call someone on it, I am sure myLot will listen to the majority. dl
