What's your favorite kind of fish?

I like salmon and tilapia if it's plain fish I'm cooking. Tuna is okay for mixing up with stuff. I like fried catfish when I'm out at a restaurant that has it for a speciality. And years ago, they had the best fish sandwiches ever at our local Big Boy restaurant. They were thick fillets of what they called whitefish. Very mild, but very good. As long as I don't have to deal with bones, I'll try any fish. Oh, except sushi and I can't get used to that. whit

Hi dreamy1, besides catfish other fresh water fish do have the taste of dirt. Just same as you I do like catfish. The texture of the flesh of it is quite fine and not rough. It could be prepared either by frying the seasoned fish in hot oil or cooking with hot and spicy ingredients. There are really appetizing to be taken with plain rice.
