your birthday, or do you celebrate only your kids birthday? When is the last time you celebrate your birthday?

It had been a very long time since I celebrated my birthday. All at the same time, we dont celebrate kids birthday also in a very bashful way. I dont remember celebrating my birthday in a bashful way. Though my birthdays are celebrated with a visit to temple and my favourite dishes cooked by mom. But all that ended before marriage. After marriage, I dont remember much celebrating birthdays.

Of course, I always celebrate my birthday but not in the grand way. Last year I celebrated it by having lunch and snacks with my officemates in the office doing some karaoke singing at breaktime. Then I had dinner with my 2 sons and relatives at home. Few days after my birthday, I went to Malaysia for a tour and vacation and to be with my hubby there for 2 weeks. We also celebrate our sons birthday by eating out at a restaurant if there's no time to prepare food at home. Even simple celebration of birthdays is okey, like going to church or offering a prayer and having just simple food to share with the family, the most important thing is, we should be thankful that another year is given to us.

i dont have any kids yet :) ..i do like to celebrate my birthday, for birthdays only comes once a year. i usually take a day off from work on my birthday. sometimes i go traveling, but most of the time it's dinner with my loved one(s). birthday's are the time to enjoy pleasures that are short and sweet and there is no finer way to spend your birthday than celebrating it with your loved ones. ^___^

Of course I celebrate my birthday. Maybe not in a big way, but we always celebrate all the birthdays round our house. Don't expect to be giving up doing so in the future either! http://www.webitz.net/humans-are-better-than-computers-after-all/

I prefer celebrating my kids' birthdays to celebrating mine. My birthday seems to be jinxed, as I tend to have terrible days whenever my birthday comes up -something bad always happens. This year (after a particularly terrible day) I told my husband that I want to cancel my birthday all together.

We always celebrate everyones birthday. This year is my golden birthday we won't be doing much b/c of all the other things that are going on in May. My daughter will be 1 two days after my birthday. My cousin is getting married and two of my cousins are graduating from high school. Of course there is also mothers day so I'm not too worried about my birthday the kids are more important.

I don't celebrate my birthday very often. The last I did it was when I turned 19. And it was just cake and a card. I don't really like to make a big deal out of it, but my friends do.

I celebrated my birthday once - when i turned 18. That was long time ago. lol But that was the first and last. And it is not a party at all. But a simple celebration only.

Not celebrating the parents' birthdays? CRUELTY TO ADULTS! Hee hee. I am not a mom, but an adult. And my whole family has always celebrated everyone's. When I was a young child, we always did also.

I make it a point to celebrate every family's and my close friend's birthday. As for my own...the older i get, the more neutral i am when it comes to celebration..

My daughter was born on the same day as me. So we have birthday together.Usually we will go to a fancy resturant to taste some new food. This year,my daughter will be 6years old. I am planning to give her a surprise---a big birthday party. Anyway I enjoy it too because that is also my birthday.

The closest thing to celebrating my birthday would be getting drunk...and since having kids and meeting my now husband having cake and getting money from them....IN fact, in my 37 yrs I've NEVER had a birthday party...not even as a child...my mother always found reason for me to be grounded on my birthday (whether the reason was real or not)

Actually, we never have the habit of celebration birthday some 20 years ago. So, when I was born, they never celebrated birthday for me.. :(. However, three years before, my frnds celebrated birthday for me and it was the first and last birthday celebration.

I don't necessarily find it very important to celebrate my birthday. But I like to celebrate the birthday of other people. My friends say I am so naive for having this notion. Well, during my birthday, I just eat outside with my partner and that's it. I don't like gifts and any precious things from anyone. Laughs.

I never celebrated my birthday since we are 5 sisters and 1 brother so my parents were never happy to have so many daughters. Yes I used to celebrate my kids birthday every year when they were with us. Now they are settled in other part of globe.

Yes, but as grand as before..I just celebrate my 28th last month. It's my first time to celebrate it with my husband. We had dinner the night before, and on the night of my birthday, he surprised me with a cake and lovely card. I was so touched.
