I am "acer"mania... and i prefer to buy another laptop with the same brand. I like the crystal clear-view monitor, and i can control its contrast automatically. I like its size, small and looks cute. How about you, what is the brand of your laptop? Why did you buy that particular brand?

Mine is a "Acer Aspire 5100" and my husband chose it. I don't know much about laptops so I left it all to him.

My laptop is a gateway becuase when I went it was one in my price range two loaded with what I needed for college and online gaming. Although I will have to say Vista is not the most desirable program that I have used as an operating system. LOL !! Have a nice day.

I have an EMachines M series laptop. I didn't chose it like most. It just so happened that I needed a computer so my aunt sold me hers for $200. It was a wonderful price, because at the time I bought it from her it was only about a year old. I really got a good deal.

Crystal clear-view is just a layer of tempered glass placed before the screen....sure, it gives the impression that the screen looks sharp, but it also attracts a lot of fingerprint marks... And also, all laptop manufacturers do have their range of small size ultraportable laptops... I bought a Fujitsu laptop namely because Japanese brands are more reliable...If I have the budget, I would have probably chosen a Sony....but Fujitsu is decent as well
