Back in the day when I was a partier...lol...I loved to dance and Janet Jackson was one of my favorite artists. Of course I loved her brothers music too but I think I liked hers better. If I had to choose one song of hers that I liked the best it would be What Have I Done For You Lately! I loved that song.
Did you listen to her music back then? Do you listen to it now? What are your favorites?

I like " That's the Way Love Goes".That is my favorite of her songs. But when I hear the name Janet Jackson i think of her as an actress. I loved her in Good Times when she was a little girl and in Poetic Justice as a woman.

Back in the day it was Black Cat and Straight up. LOL!! Now I don't listen to her to much my tastes have changed. I'm more into Within Temptation , Three days Grace and Shinedown.

"That's the way love goes" is my favorite. I love Janet Jackson and have been to two concerts of hers in New Zealand. I listen to her music all the time.

I really like Escapade and Rhythm Nation. I also like to watch her dance. Her brother dances much better than she does, but she is still excellent.
She started out on television, as a non-singing actress.Do you remember when she was on Good Times and Different Strokes? That was way back in the day.

I loved and still love Janet Jackson.
My favorite song of hers is probably Thats the way love goes- just because it was out in a good time in my life and brings back good memories. I loved that video too come to think about it- where she has all her friends around and she is singing and they are just bopping to it- I love her!!
My favorite video of hers still is Pleasure Principle- remember that one- where she is in the studio dancing by herself and singing with attitude. She was showing off her choreography skills that Paula Abdoul taught her I'm sure. Janet is awesome to this day!!!!!

Okay so I was just watching MTV Jams and they played Janet Jackson performing Black Cat in concert- Awesome. It's funny to see her being proud of her thickness - even back then when it wasn't so much "in style"...lol.

I like Janet's music a lot. I loved Escapade...the song and the video. I also love Love Will Never Do Without You, Let's Wait Awhile, and the song she did with Michael, Scream.
