Have you ever?

I get my discussions in my email so I respond to them that way. But then I get the mylot digest and a lot of the discussions my friends started are on them too. I am always about 3 weeks behind in my emails so I don't always remember which discussions I have already responded to. I have several times ended up responding to the same discussion again. Has this ever happened to you? Or do you remember all the discussions you've already responded to? Some discussions are so similar that I don't know if I have responded to it or another one like it. So now I am spending a lot of time checking to see if I responded to it before or not. I am thinking of giving up on looking and just respond to it anyways because it takes less time to just respond to it, than to check if I already have. Some of the discussions have pages and pages of responses so it takes a long time to look at them all to check. Do you check or do you just go ahead and respond to it?

That's the problem isn't if you don't know whether you have responded or not and there's like four pages to wade through to check that you haven't already responded, very time consuming. I just rely on my notifications in my email as soon as I have responded then I will delete them, only trouble is when a friend has done about six or more, I like to answer them all at once otherwise I forget which ones I have responded too. Sometimes a few I don't know what I can respond with so I move on. I use the daily digests very rarely to be honest.

I have yet to do that being a fairly new member but there has been many times where I was googling something and got to a forum which I decided to participate in and add a comment only to realize it was like 5 years old.
