Sometimes it seems that everytime you think it's all working out...

...the rug gets pulled out from under you.
My partner just finished training to be an electrician and got a really good job. They told him he had a six month contract and he was finally going to buy me an engagement ring. I thought we were finally getting our life together.
He was working for two hours this morning before someone told him he wasn't supposed to be there and he didn't have a job any more.
Apparently, he was only hired until they found someone with more experience, but they "forgot" to tell him this.
It seems so wrong that they can do that.
Everything is back to being stressful again and I don't want to have to ask his mother for money help again.
All I can hope is that he manages to find something else soon. I'm disabled and can't work myself. I just feel like every time I let myself believe that things are finally going to be ok, we're knocked back down again.
Sorry for the miserable post, I just needed to vent. :(

I hope things are looking up by now. It's terrible that they more or less guarenteed him a job then took it away. At least with his training he might have a little easier of a time finding a new job.

Things aren't really better, but we just keep having to reach deep down to try and find the strength to keep going. It's not easy, but he has to get work eventually!

Hi Doll, You must have faith..It will all work out in the end..I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason and that what is is meant to be..
It may seem bleak today but someday in the future you will look back and see that this is the best it can be ..
Now next step..believe with all your being that he will get a better job and that all will be well....and it will be.
