I do believe in the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost. I believe that speaking in tongues is being able to speak other human languages. It is being able to learn to speak, say Aramaic or Russian. I also believe that there are people that can speak in their birth language while speaking of God to different groups of people and God gives those groups an understanding of what the speaker is saying. I don't believe in the speaking of tongues as the Pentecostals do.

yes I do believe in the holy spirit, and I do believe that some people can speak in tongues, but I think a few fake it too

I believe in the Holy Ghost. I believe in speaking in tongues too. It is a gift from God.

Many years ago I went to church with a b/f and his mom. The service was nice and then all of a sudden his mom fell over in the aisle and started babbling. I thought she was having a stroke. Several other ppl also fell over and started babbling. I was terrified. The b/f explained but I still had nightmares for weeks afterward. As for my personal beliefs in speaking in tongues...I believe that if God is going to speak to ppl he's going to do it so everyone understands it...not just some select few. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I absolutely believe in the Holy Ghost...as the 3rd person of the Blessed and Holy Trinity. I think that speaking in tongues was done by the apostles and was not the same as so many people claim to be doing so today. When they spoke in their own language - those around heard the words in their language instead. We are told in scripture to be sober and vigilant -

I deny the Holy Spirit.

Yes I do believe in it. I have been taught that since I was old enough to learn about the bible from my grandparents and parents. I also believe in the speaking of tongues. Although I have heard that some churches doesn't believe in the speaking of the tongues. My brother in laws church doesn't. He won't even let his daughter go to church with us when we go even though she says she likes our church alot better then her parents church and gets more enjoyment out of church going to ours.

Yes, I believe in God, therefore, I believe in Jesus Christ AND the Holy Spirit. I also believe that speaking in tongues is one of the gifts of the Spirit, given to some believers, not but all. I also believe if one speaks in tongues, there will also be someone there to interpret it.

yes, i believe both in the holy ghost/spirit and speaking in toungs. I believe because ive been babtised in the holy spirit and can speak in toungs, allthought its something that i havent done regulary for some time. Still its gives me great joy to praise the lord and speak secrets between me and him in toungs (Satan doesnt understand the speaking in toungs thing).

I don't know. What do you mean with holy ghost? Can you describe what holly ghost is?
