My step son has cancer, and it's hard for me to write about this, But I'll give it my best shot cause I got to speak out to someone. People alway's hear of women mostly getting breast cancer. Or they'll see it on the Discovery Health Channel, But what would happen to you if it hit home, You can't just sit back and cry. You need to buckle down and search out somewhere and somehow find anyone that will help. People immediately think it would be a older person, but my step-son is (18) yrs. old he received it when he was 17. He has Hepatitus C. We don't know where he got it, he didn't get it from no-one in the family. I guess he was just lucky I guess (HA HA) How would you feel? Let's hear it MyLot

You know we all hear about someone becoming ill or tradgeies that happen to people around us but I don't really think we realize these things are Real until it Hits close to home.We are never really taught how we are suspose to deal with these kinds of things until they happen to us and are forced to deal with them. And dealing with them One Day at a time is all a person can do, we can't forsee the Future but we can be positive about and Live each New day to it's fullest and cherish it. I would say to you to draw strength from Family and Friends it helps knowing you have people who care! Best Wishes to you and your Family!

Oh dear, this is a horrible position to be in, I am not sure I would cope very well, I am just not good with things like this, but just recently I have taken up the idea of positive thinking, maybe this is the way to go for you, positive thinking and as a friend of mine did changed his diet when he was told he had cancer, he changed to juices and i mean he lived on them, he was told to have mega amouts of beetroot, carrot and ginger freshly made juices and he has lived a lot longer that the time he was given...just remember the power of the mind is mighty... i wish your step son all the best and I hope he wins this battle....
