benefits of nameing a tag

what are the tags for and how does it beneift to use one or two or three or more?

Hi rcaira7, I think tagging a discusiion is for putting it in search. Using the tag(typing it in the search box), if anybody search they will get all topics on the tag for their looking. In some sites they are calling it as threads. Good Luck.

In my opinion they are similar to the "key words", by which you can search for the similar topics.
