Anyone Else Haveing A Problem Logging Into Hotmail Today?

I haven't been able to log in to MSN. I tried this morning and it said to try again later. This same thing happened to me over the weekend. I don't know what they are up to over there but I am not getting my live updates because of it. I usually get automatic notification of new emails but because I'm technically not logged onto MSN I don't. I know yesterday I tried to get to my email (sympatico, which is the same as hotmail now) and got page cannot be found. I figured it timed out and tried again and it worked the second time. I haven't tried to log into MSN for a second time yet today. But it does seem like they are experiencing some difficulties, or doing some upgrading.

Something similar happened to me with hotmail not more than a month ago, I would try to log into hotmail, and it kept directing me to log in. Finally I got frustrated enough and I decided to get my hubby to check his, and that was fine, his worked. I called my brother and he told me that because I've had this email for 10 yrs maybe over that it's running on an older server and it's because of that. I just waited it out and it worked again about 2 hrs later. I'm not sure about how much of what he said was true, and I didn't realise that if you had an older account with hotmail that this could ever happen.

This problem happened to me last night. I was unable to check my email from the website. But fortunately I could check it by Outlook Express. Perhaps at that time Hotmail's server had some problems. I am glad that this problem was fixed this morning.

thank god it happend to more people or I was going to kill my husband :) he was mesing with the computer just before I was using it and could not open my mail I had been trying to log in for 2 hours and I just finaly managed to open it. Well if they are working on it could they say so isntead I get the stupid white screen with can not be found thing on it.

Evidently hotmail was down first thing this morning, for I had trouble in getting it to load too. It seems to be working now, for I am in hotmail at the present time.

It had seen many times with another sites.It may be because your internet sevice provider. Usually the hotmail takes more time to log on than the gmail or yahoo or such sites.Thanks

ITs been long time since i close my email address in hotmail.i dont trust the safety of the website..but yeah maybe it is from the internet connection.

maybe the problem that you got is from your connection, sometimes it happen to me specially if the server is down, this time it make me sick.

Yea I'm having Hotmail issues too today....and its driving me nuts..I keep getting alerts that mail has come in but I cant get to my account! Its beyond annoying!!

My one apartment mate had problems logging in today. Not sure if she's still having problems though. No clue what was going on with it though. Sorry.

Yes I had that problem just a few weeks back. I wouldn't be able to log in. But today it seems to have been down for some time. I didn't try it but both my daughter and the secretary in my school told me they were having problems.

Yes, I had the same problem as you ,but everything seems to be okay now. I had no idea what happened. Maybe they were upgrading something.

hi danishcanadian yes i have had the similar type of problem and it has worried a bit as my notebook is new and wouldn't of thought i would get this type of problem when signing into hotmail on a new notrbook- i would like to know what is going on too-littleowl

Yes, I am, too. An error code come up and says to troubleshoot or try later.
