Do you munch and read?

I have this bad habit of eating while reading. There are times when I open a bag of chips and munch while I read. Or, have a mug of coffee or hot chocolate with a few chocolate chip cookies while reading. Of course I don't do this while having breakfast, lunch or dinner because I know that dad would really be irritated. lol! How many among you munch on something while reading?

Not usually. I seldom snack so chances are not high that I would be snacking and reading.:P

Oh, I actually do the reverse as you. I like to read while I am eating! Breakfast - read papers. Lunch/dinner - if no TV, then read a book.:P

I don't like to eat while reading nor read while I eat. If I wanted to read the newspaper in the morning, I do it after I have my breakfast. Even when reading a book and I want to munch on something, I just stop reading for awhile, turn the tv on and munch.

Hi there! I have that habit too. I like eating while reading a book. Most of the time, it is hot chocolate that I sip while reading or potato chips.

I usually have a drink around. Rum or whisky or my favourite coffee. It does make it better to have a favourite near you while reading. It enhances the experience and keeps you comfortable.

Aah when I am online i have a bowl of chips or bickies by my laptop too for munching on. Not a good thing to do. I have tried swapping it with oranges and apples though (not quite the same I must admit LOL). Baby carrots work for me though!

I never do that. It is not fair. In our community both the things are godesses. Food is godess Lakshmi and books are godess saraswathi. You cannot worship two godess at a time. They need to be worshipped seperately. Secondly, eating consumes energy. Also reading consumes energy. Body and mind will not be able to concentrate on two things at the same time.

I do that also. It is reading and eating that I can do altogether. Even when I am infront of the computer, I am munching something, but I see to it that it will not affect my computer or the small pieces not dropping into my computer. Its nice doing that right.

I do but then I have been known to read for a whole day and still do when I can, which isn't often these days, so you need to eat and I won't put a book down just to eat. Crisps are the best as you can read and dip into them and any kind of drink will do, altho I do like a nice herbal tea when I'm reading.

That's one of the times I eat the least. I'm bad about snacking in the evening while watching tv.
