Excuse me for my filthy mood but I have to have a rant. I am sick and tired of teenagers and young people who just stick their fingers up at the law having their names protected because of legal reasons, even more reason for them to laugh at the system Well I say NAME AND SHAME! The country is full of bleeding hearts that say these scum have rights, excuse me but as soon as they kill, attack, rape, violate or hurt animals they should automatically LOSE THEIR RIGHTS What about the rights of the victim? NO, We like to PUNISH the victims and PROTECT the guilty What deranged society are we living in? When decent, honest folk are too frightened to go out at night, when law abiding citizens are set upon for no reason, attacked or worse Until the country has a reliable justice system, proper deterrants and stops this society plummaging even deeper into the insanity yobs will always be able to stick their fingers up at the law! This won't make me popular but I am PRO Execution Eye for an eye, the worst thing this country did was get rid of the death penalty I know mistakes have been made even with hightech forensics, but surely it will send a message out before more innocents are killed I always joked that if I had killed my ex, I would have got a less sentence the years I actually spent with him! First offence, good lawyer I might have got 3 years for justifiable homicide Instead of being with him for 4.5 years, do the math! Eye For an Eye Pro or Against Name and Shame ANY age Pro or Against

Eye for an eye sweety I am against I am afraid, doesn't mean I think less of you though and I have to admit that there have been many times where I have thought they should bring back hanging for them but I don't really think I would be comfortable with that. I do think that our justice system has too many faults and loopholes and needs a total overhaul as does sentencing. They also need to take a look at prisons, they are a form of punishment and instead many of those in prison have more luxuries than many decent hard working people have in the real world, heating all the time, meals prepared, en suite rooms, sky tv - the list goes on, make prisons a place of punishment rather than a holiday camp! As for the name and ahame I agree there - definitely 100% - you said it all and I agree totally! Hugs and hope you feel better after your very eloquent rant! xxx

Don't get me started on prisons, glorified Holidaycamps, do you know pensioners would be much better off if they were put in prison, no more heating bills, no more fear of being attacked, 24/7 security, food provided, no rent, no one knocking at their doors or trying to scam them on the phone! Sorry back off me soap box! LOL. Big hugs xxx

You are right, an eye for an eye and and name'em and shame'em. I am so tired of people who get away with the stuff they do. Somehow, I don't think you would really kill anyone, you don't seem like that kind of person, but I do understand how you feel.

No I am not capable of killing, don't worry Wolfie is not an axe murderer, but it does go to show doesn't it, with the right lawyer, right defence you could get off with murder literally and most do, especially if you have the money!

We never had all this trouble in the 60s and 70s did we? Do you remember the time especially up north when everyone left their doors open and neighbours would just walk in for a cup of coffee or to borrow sugar? So sad those times have gone xxxx

I think that if someone commits a crime, they should get what they deserve. In my opinion they do not have the right to remain anonymous, no matter how young or old they are, or for any other reason. These people need to be named publiclly.

Those that deliberately take a life do not deserve to live, they should loose their life too. I agree with you wolfie, an eye for an eye.

I think I am pro. We have the juvenile delinquency law here and a lot of people and lawmakers are now moving for its ammendment. I believe that no matter the age, one should be held accoutable for ones actions and crimes. There are just a lot of teenagers nowadays that have committed so heinous a crime that they should be made to pay for it and not cuddled.

Absolutely nobody ever considers the victims rights, which just goes to show what a warped society we live in. The yobs know that nothing will happen, so they continue if there was a deterent they would think twice. I've gone and learnt a martial art to protect myself as I know the police won't. Knowing my luck if I did fight off an attacker, I'd be the one in court charged with assault, that is what really infuriates me most.
