If I was to come to your home for dinner tonight, what would we be eating? If you came to my home tonight, you would be having fish fingers with spaghetti hoops on toast, and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Sounds yummy doesn't it? LOL It's one of those quick easy meals for my son and I tonight. My kind of cooking LOL So what are you having for dinner tonight?

Fish fingers? Since when do fish have fingers? I want the cookies!!! hehe. We are having baked chicken, oh joy. We have so much chicken, I swore I heard my roommate clucking in her sleep the other night. There is chicken salad, chicken stir fry, chicken chow mein, chicken ala king, chicken pot pie, chicken and rice, baked chicken, barbeque chicken, chicken quasadilla(however it is spelled) and chicken and noodles. One thing about it though, when they say you are what you eat, I agree. Cough, cough, I just spit out a feather.

I just finished having dinner. You would not believe in a million years what we had for desert. We had Keebler chocolate chip cookies. We were supposed to have oatmeal, but after hearing you talk about chocolate so much, I asked for it and they were all too happy to switch for me. The cooks think I am the cookie monster, haha.

Ok now I am jealous (in a good way) - roasted turkey with cranberry stuffing and carrots, feels like part of Thanksgiving dinner to me. Your comment has made me hungry and all I have is leftover spaghetti bolognaise which my son loves to eat

Sunday evening dinner...as I was up Mylotting my sweet hubs made an absolutely PERFECT cheese and broccoli omelets with a fresh salad. He had lean pork and potatoes. Neither one of us are into desserts. I am back after a delicious meal made by an equally delicious cook sipping on a cup of green tea. Ah yes, life is good! Raia

My gal pals love to come over because he lovingly cooks for all of us as we yuk it up and he prepares wonderful meals for us. My girlfriend came and stayed with us for a couple of weeks in January and she loves his cooking too. She bought a house just down the street from us and is looking forward to coming over for the good food he prepares more often. Ahhh yes....must have done something right in another life! I have no idea what I am making for dinner tonight. We just went grocery shopping so we have lots of food. I just ate 3 Girl Scout cookies though, so I am full and nothing sounds quite right at the moment. Since this discussion was made yesterday I will tell what I made last night instead. We had BBQ chicken, diced potatoes with green and red bell peppers, corn and baked beans. For dessert I had cheese danish, and my husband and daughter had Girl Scout cookies. We also have frozen fudge bars.

If you was to come to my house for dinner tonight, you would be eating thick irish sausages with a mixture of steamed veg and new potatoes in parsley sauce and for dessert I think it would be a choice of ice lollies. Thats if there is any left because my children have been like a swarm of locusts this week so far! Ah but thinking on I could offer you one of my really posh chocs that my son bought me the other day! But you could only have one if you ate all your dinner!!!

Since rice is our staple food here, then all of the meals will be served along with rice. Usually, it's a two or three-course meal. You'll get to have three different viands like sweet and sour fish, braised beef/pork, mixed vegetables like chopsuey and maybe some fried chicken(?).. =) As for dessert, it's either fruits or some cookies. But there are situations where we'll prepare something different for a guest, just like what I and my father did when we had a guest from other country. We cooked some meals which were the foods that person was used of eating, I guess that depends on how "picky" the person would be (though I don't usually prefer to think of each of our guests as like that!LoL).

If you came to my house tonight you'd be getting fresh air sandwiches. My boyfriend has been at work and I have been at my workshop, so we haven't had time to do any shopping. I'm sure we will either do a little shopping tonight or go out to eat. You are welcome to join us at a restaurant if you like.

Leftovers. My sister in law made home made spinach alfredo pizza pockets. She and my daughter also made sausage balls.(They taste better than they sound) and I will make an extra veggie to go with it. Top off with whatever canned soup maybe tomato.

I have not tried those alfredo pizza pockets before nor sausage balls. If they are anything like meatballs then I would certainly like them.

I am a huge fan of having something fast...because it doesn't seem to please me as much if you have to wait all day to eat one meal...because it's gone that night anyways....so I am a huge fan of just eating something simple like maybe cheeseburgers and fries or spaghetti because their both filling and fast..so its a win win...
