Referral exchange Hall of Shame

February 26, 2008 5:50pm CST
It's on the PTC Talk forum, and another new one on the Talk PTC forum. Now that's funny, I was just thinking about making my own shame hall on my blog (which hasn't got much exposure), as you can see from my very previous myLot post. I really thought I was the first person to think of such idea! But then no one told me, and Google doesn't find any. So have you ever used it? to report someone or to avoid referral exchanging with someone already on the Hall? OR are you or have you ever been on the Hall?? xD

I would use a hall of shame to publicly voice my opinion that getref.com is useless. It is full of scammers from my experience, that claim credit for joining programs when they have not. If you decline their request for credit, you lose a credit from your "promoter rating", but if you accept them, you lose a credit, so you lose either way. One person on getref.com, user name "MACROPOP" joined EasyHits4u from my link and surfed ZERO sites. I had already accepted his request, so too late. I then stipulated that I would only accept a request for credit if at least 50 sites are surfed and guess what....no takers! I blame the getref.com admin, for not investigating this or even letting members contact them, excpet in a huge forum filled with random moans that didn't appear to have a decent response in my opinion. Grrrr! :)
