What does your pet get into???

I have owned dogs for most of my life. They were all smart and they all have gotten into things they shouldn't have. I currently own a Siberian Husky who amazes me with the things that she does. I just wanted to know if anyone else out there has any funny stories about the kinds of things their pets have done or gotten into that you couldn't help but to laugh? I will start... Some of the crazy funny things she has done: I once walked into the kitchen after having a shower to find her & my other dog in the kitchen with the fridge wide open and they had cucumbers, tomatoes and cottage cheese sprawled out all of the floor eating them, guess they wanted a salad.. I also have a water cooler in the kitchen, that I was getting upset with because I wanted to know who was drinking all the water & not telling anyone that it was getting empty so I could buy a new bottle. While I was asking everyone in the house and of course nobody drank it, she came prancing into the kitchen walked up to the water cooler used her nose to turn it on and just started drinking, needless to say mystery solved & to think I actually drank some of that water...lol If you are sitting at the kitchen table she will sit up on the kitchen chair and just watch to see what you are doing, it probably doesn't sound that funny but it is hillarious if you could only see her... She cracks me up everyday... So lets share some stories...

My dogs steal carrots from the kitchen! My cats steal whatever they can find from the kitchen! Sometimes I think that my cats are normal but my dogs have identity issues. Anyone heard of that? A dog that thinks it's a rabbit? :-)

Well, sounds like your dog will keep his eyesight for a long time...lol My friend has a cat that always goes into her purse and steals things out of it then she sticks them under the coach.

The cat breaking into the purse reminds me of a cat we had that was a theif too. We had neighbours who did their laundry in the garage but had no connecting door to their house so left the garage door open whilst they were doing it. The cat kept stealing small items of laundry, mainly underwear, and coming home with it! We were never sure whether it was more embarrassing to take it back or just to hang onto it & see if they asked! In the end I think we had underwear from ever member of that family!! We always said we should train the cat to do criminal acts that would actually benefit us LoL

Where do I start? Lol. Ok-see the basset avatar? Doesn't she look like an angel? She's the devil in disguise. That's Georgie. There was the Great Milk-Bone Caper. Got into a box of treats while we were gone-(don't ask me how she got them)-and stuffed the evidence, a torn empty box, under the couch so we wouldn't know. Except we kept finding milk bones in the cushions for days afterward. The day my hubby went for his run and I went for a walk for about 20-25 minutes...George had just had her walk and plenty of treats and bread-the dog LOVES bread-so she should have been in 7th heaven. I walked in the door to a total disaster area- the gate blocking my office access was knocked down and trampled-cat litter all over EVERYTHING-the gate blocking the upstairs also bowled over-she must have tried to jump it-all the cats' food is gone; the bowls scattered hell to breakfast...seems like I'm forgetting something else she did too-(Oh, yes-the kitchen cupboard door-wide open!)but all of this in about 20 minutes. Guess she was mad we had the audacity to walk without her. So-bought a new baby gate that locks, shut the office door instead of gating it, and bought a wheeled container for her food and treats that stores in the pantry. I actually photographed the next one- bay leaves crushed into the carpeting, a packages of chili mix in the middle of the living room, and her wheeled tub, pulled out of the pantry into the kitchen doorway, with the locking handles all chewed up. Think we'll keep her anyway...:)

Our dog tries to get into the trash. She is fed on a regular basis. But sometimes acts as though she is starved. Some days are worse than others. She has also found our clothing enjoyable. Socks underwear, my husbands shirts. Today she got ahold of one of my bras. I came into the room and surprise. 1 strap was hanging off her ear and another part in her mouth. Guess I'll have to get one of those hanging hampers.

My dog loves to do a lot of crazy thing. She always climb to my bed and play with my pillows so i always ended up stitching the damage that she done. But i stil love her inspite of her frequent destroying of my things. Other funny things she does is she always hve fight with our cat, but she ended up with lot of scrathes on her face.

I have a golden retriever who has decided to use the lower branches of my weeping willow tree as his own personal slingshot. He gets one of his stuffed toys or his blanket wedged onto the branch and then lets it go. Keeps himself entertained for hours repeating the game. It will be a miracle if that poor tree lives another year. He also peels all of the bark off the cluster of birches. I am considering renting him out as a tree pruner.
